The Weisse Arena Gruppe is an integrated service company in the tourism and leisure sector based in Laax. We are a provider of alpine leisure experiences. The business model of the Weisse Arena Gruppe, with five wholly owned subsidiaries and numerous brands, is unique in the Alpine region. The group includes a mountain railway company, hotels and restaurants, sports and rental stores, a ski and snowboard school, a bike school and a management company.
The LAAX app serves as a digital companion for up to 20,000 guests every day. From effortless booking of lift tickets to simple food orders and table reservations, the app is designed to optimise holiday planning and enhance time on the slopes. It offers live information, suggestions for leisure activities and a platform to connect with friends - all with the aim of creating an unforgettable experience.
Our team is young, motivated and united by our enthusiasm for technology and nature. We work closely with all stakeholders to develop innovative products. Our pipeline is full to bursting with ideas and we are therefore looking for reinforcements.
What you move
You are part of our agile team, which is responsible for the development and operation of the LAAX app and other web applications. Close cooperation with our stakeholders from marketing, gastronomy, hotels and railways You are involved from the conception to the implementation and operation of the solutions Development and maintenance of server-side applications with Node.js Design and implementation of responsive web applications with React and NextJS Development of cross-platform mobile applications with React Native / Expo
What makes you special
Vocational training in the field of application development and/or a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline Experience with part of our stack (see below) Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantageWe use the following technologies, frameworks and paradigms: TypeScript, NodeJs, React, ReactNative, Expo, NextJS, MongoDB, GraphQL, AWS.
We do not expect you to master this entire stack, but we do require that you already have hands-on experience with some of it.

We offer an attractive workplace in the heart of the Grisons mountains, the opportunity to work at 2263 metres above sea level and numerous . We are also open to flexible working models (part-time and/or remote), whereby you should be on site in Laax at least 3 days a week on average.
