Hitachi Energy has been leading the development, manufacturing, and supply of dry-type transformers for more than 40 years - with path-leading technological innovation. Hitachi Energy offers a full range of dry-type transformers with primary voltages through 72.5 kV built according to all major standards, including IEC and ANSI. 

We seek an enthusiastic sales professional to spearhead the development and growth of our transformers. You'll have the chance to make a tangible impact by crafting and executing strategic marketing and sales plans, overseeing sales performance, nurturing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, negotiating complex deals, and supporting marketing initiatives.

Your responsibilities

Drive commercial sales strategy discussions and creates sales plans together with local sales organization and ensure the implementation and monitor progress

Regular follow up of the business development and monitor's market trends and recommends adjustments plans 

Supports the local Sales organization, or directly with key customers, in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers

Responsible for defining the pricing strategy and selling the products, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets 

Negotiate complex legal and frame agreements 

Drive marketing activities

Support other functions to maximize collective success

Your background

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and proven track record of success

Technical background in electrical engineering or a related field is highly desirable 

Expertise in transformers and their applications

Understandings of customer needs and the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms

Out-of-the-box thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills in English and Italian, German and/or French proficiency would be a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or other ERP tools
