Tasks

Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient operations, managing the financial aspects of trades, and maintaining strict compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete execution of physical trades from the point the contract is issued until the transaction is closed.
  • Handle financial operations related to transactions, including opening and cashing Letters of Credit, negotiating and issuing shipping documents, and overseeing credit limits.
  • Coordinate effectively with with the various stakeholders involved in the transaction (internal departments, shipping brokers, insurance, inspection companies and commercial counterparts) ensuring seamless execution and timely communication.
  • Abide by the internal operational, risk, compliance and sanctions policies.
  • Deliver timely and accurate operational reports.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in international logistics (minimum 3+ years), preferably with bulk and liquid commodities.
  • Previous experience with fertilizers commodities highly valued.
  • Proven track record in a similar role, ideally within a trading environment.
  • Higher education or university degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is highly valued.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Accurate working and detail oriented, ability to independently manage tasks, team player.
