In our R&D group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals in the form of hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.
Our Clinical Investigation team within R&D is responsible for the development, design, and execution of clinical studies. In your role as Clinical Studies Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating the clinical readiness (efficacy, limitations, and usability) of hearing systems, functions, fitting software and wireless technology together in an interdisciplinary environment.
Your tasks
Drive the execution of clinical studies in compliance with local regulation Collaborate with relevant partners (., subject matter experts, researchers, business units) to develop evaluation protocols Contribute to the maintenance of clinical databases and study records in accordance with data privacy and good clinical practice Responsible for data collection, data analysis, documentation, reporting, defining conclusions and/or actions to be taken from the clinical outcomes Collaborate with subject matter experts in hypothesis/objective development & definition of acceptance criteria Contribute to exploration, development, and evaluation activities Perform diagnostic hearing testing & fitting of hearing devices using standard clinical audiological methodsYour profile
University degree (MSc/PhD) in Audiology or hearing aid technology 4+ years demonstrated experience in planning, design, execution and reporting on clinical studies in audiology or auditory implants Sound audiological knowledge as well as experience with fitting and programming hearing systems Competence in technical, electroacoustic and real-ear measurements is a plus Knowledge of acoustics, psychoacoustics for normal hearing and hearing loss Able to work independently with a proactive mindset Native level fluency in German ; excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)Our offer
