Your role
As Senior Avaloq Developer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are a seasoned software engineer with profound know-how of all relevant technological aspects of the Avaloq stack (Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Task Engine, Report Writer, Object Model, Transactional Model, Booking Engine) and provide your expertise to the Trade & Transaction reporting unit within the broader Avaloq Regulatory team.
Your responsibilities
Maintain existing Trade and Transaction reporting solutions Develop new functionalities or changes to existing functionalities in Trade and Transaction reporting Implement small to medium sized projects together with your colleagues from the Trade and Transaction reporting unit Challenge and re-think existing solutions (architecture) together with your colleagues from the Trade and Transaction reporting unit Be an integral part of the broader Avaloq Regulatory team, also assisting in other expert fields (Tax, Compliance, Legal Reporting, Accounting)
Your profile
Higher education (university / FH) in Informatics or Computer Science, preferably with specialization in Software Engineering Additional training in Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) 4 years of practical experience in the field of Avaloq development Solid understanding of banking and finance Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work with various stakeholder as well as hands-on mentality Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability Willingness to re-locate to Switzerland (Basel) Fluency in English-
