Front-End Architect

We are looking for a talented Front-end Architect to join our team and help us transform our IT applications into a unified platform. As a Front-end Architect, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to multiple development teams as they replace current front-end implementations. Your role will be to establish guidelines and best practices for front-end development and ensure that these guidelines are followed consistently across all teams.

Responsibilities:

Design and oversee the implementation of a unified front-end platform for multiple IT applications. Develop guidelines and best practices for front-end development to be followed by teams. Guide and support teams in replacing current implementations and transitioning to the new platform. Ensure the platform's solution architecture is designed to operate for the next decade. Enable horizontal and vertical scaling options for business features and technical components. Ensure clear isolation and dependency control between components, with decentralization of ownership and independent life-cycles. Minimize efforts and time required for single business feature implementation from idea to production-ready version. Maximize component reuse to avoid functional duplication and maximize development team's time. Establish a single sharing point between teams to minimize integration and feature reimplementation. Ensure a seamless user journey between all platform capabilities served from ALSO, using the same SSO and UX system. Safeguard critical business points through process monitoring and reporting. Ensure positive ROI through smart investment decisions and regular technical maintenance. Ensure redundancy and scalability for business processes, systems, and services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architect role. Experience with front-end development frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices, including accessibility, performance, and security. Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development. Experience with agile development methodologies and working in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with teams across different locations and time zones. Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to other developers. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
