Its scope covers Logistics & Transportation, Marketing & Communication, Property & Facilities, Human Resources, General Services, Professional Services, Travel & Events, Marketing & POS, IT & Telecom.Your role @Chanel:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization. In the position of Indirect Procurement Intern, you will be at the heart of the procurement activities of Chanel Switzerland and Swiss Markets (Switzerland, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, India) working on all Divisions (Fashion, Fragrances & Beauty, Watches & fine Jewelry) and Corporate activities.You will provide essential support in the evolvement of the Procurement function and its tools, sharing best procurement practices and work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and how they can be met. This role will be supporting business teams on the management of the procurement process, from strategic sourcing, professional negotiation, contract management, vendor performance, risk assessment, and overall category management. You will be expected to provide reporting on the performance of projects and to ensure the relevant documentation is provided to the Regional and Global IP team.What impact you can create at Chanel:· Lead sourcing and tendering process:o Sourcing projects and RFI (Request for Information) ensuring collaboration with internal business partnerso Support business partners in the definition of specifications & requirementso Preparation and launch of tenders/RFP (Request for Proposals)o Analyze and negotiate proposals/quotes with suppliers and business partnerso Award supplier, implement legal agreements & report benefits· Improve overall Procurement & Sustainability Performance:o Identify spend optimization & supplier panel rationalization opportunitieso Define and implement Preferred Supplier List with business partners and supplierso Conduct financial and spend analysis and prepare professional negotiationo Monitor Risk Management and Sustainable Procurement trough different tools and initiatives· Enrich our P2P platform :o Create together with business partners and suppliers relevant catalogues (hosted & punch-out)o Clean and enrich the preferred supplier databaseo Improve procurement processeso Ad hoc requestsWhat you will bring to the role:· Bachelor or Master's degree or Recent Graduate in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or similar.· Ideally, a previous experience in Procurement· Strong Office Excel and Power Point skills· Strong analytical skills· Fluent in French and English· Strong interpersonal skills· A pro-active and energetic mindset, eager to tackle new projectsWhat you would gain from this experience:· The opportunity to develop, gain experience and grow professionally in the procurement discipline· With the breadth of projects, scenarios, and people you will be exposed to in this role, it will help nurture prioritization, demonstrate the benefits of being solution focused, and illustrate the importance of adding value to the business where possible· The chance to work with various teams, on numerous projects, for one of the leading Fashion brands in the worldAt Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress.
