Project / Role:For our client in the finance sector in Bern, we are looking for a Fullstack Java Application Developer with a focus on backend (Reference N: 924514OK) for developing and maintaining software applications based on technical and operational requirements, as well as ensuring implementation.Main tasks:Analyzing problems (business processes/transactions, data, functions) and the environment (workplace, target systems/platforms, organizational framework)Defining the resulting functional and non-functional (availability, security, performance) system requirementsCreating models for data, functions and/or objectsCreating or selecting appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development and maintenanceDeveloping and maintaining software applications, components, modules, and interfaces to databases and other applications. Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of this software.Setting up and maintaining the development and testing environmentAssisting with the implementation and testing (integration testing) of software applications.Creating and maintaining documentation (models, interface descriptions, test procedures, user manual, etc.)Analyzing and fixing software errors in production applicationsImplementing Change RequestsDesigning and implementing software improvements throughout the application lifecycleRequirements:Relevant experience of at least 5 years.Java experienceApplication EngineeringArchitectureData management/Data engineeringMethodological competenceDesign & Problem SolvingSelf-management/leading oneselfDealing with complexityCommunicative team playerSAFe knowledgeDesirable: Docker & Kubernetes, HTML 5, Jira, SQLLanguages:German C1English B2Referenznr.: 924514OKRole: Application Developer in Fullstack JavaBranch: FinanceLocation: Bern and regionWorkload: 100% (of which 30-60% is remote work within Switzerland only)Start: End date: December 31, 2026Job Type: 100%Work Location: On the road
