Garda's primary offices are located in Wayzata, New York City, West Palm Beach, Geneva, Zug, Copenhagen, Singapore, and Scottsdale.Garda is looking to hire an Analyst to join the Inflation Trading Desk in Geneva. The candidate will be supporting portfolio managers in exploring and analyzing investment ideas.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop a fundamental understanding of the inflation market and its main products including cash and derivative instrumentsUse qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and assess the risk of existing strategies, which involves the development and maintenance of spreadsheets used to drive investment decisionsSupport the team's research process, including data collection and analysis, prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoringCommunicate opportunities to the Investment and Leadership teamsQualifications & Desired Skills1-2 years' experience in a relevant role at a top tier bank or hedge fundBachelor's or Master's Degree in finance, economics, or a similar quantitative disciplineExceptional quantitative & programming skills (Python & SQL)Knowledge and interest in financial marketsStrong written and oral communication skillsCritical thinking, strong attention to detail and independent problem solving skillsIntellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improveAbility to work effectively in a high-energy, time sensitive team environmentAbility and willingness to work unconventional hoursCandidate Privacy Notice
