This role serves as the operational backbone of our retail environment team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.The Team Lead will provide direction, coaching, and oversight to project leaders, ensuring alignment with the company's retail development strategy. This role also acts as the bridge between the Head of Retail Environment and the project teams, driving consistency, innovation, and operational excellence across all markets.In this role, your main tasks will be to :Team Leadership & ManagementLead, coach, and develop a team of Retail Development Project Leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovationAct as the first line of operational decision-making and escalate strategic issues to theHead of Retail Environment when requiredEnsure equitable workload distribution, resource planning, and ongoing performance management of the teamProvide mentorship, professional development, and training to strengthen project management capabilities within the teamProject Portfolio OversightOversee the global pipeline of retail store development projects, ensuring consistency in execution and adherence to brand and operational standardsMonitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across all team projects, ensuring alignment with departmental KPIsConduct regular project reviews with Project Leaders to ensure proactive problem-solving, risk management, and on-time deliveryStakeholder & Vendor CoordinationStrengthen relationships with internal stakeholders (operations, sales, store design, vm) and external vendors, contractors, and consultantsOversee vendor performance management, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, quality standards, and budgetary targetsOperational Excellence & InnovationStandardize processes, tools, and best practices across the team to enhance efficiency and scalability of project deliveryEnsure compliance with all building codes, local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability requirementsDrive innovation in retail environment development by integrating new technologies, sustainable materials, and cost-efficient solutionsProfilYou have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related fieldYou have 10+ years of experience in retail store development, with at least 5 years in a team leadership or line management roleYou have a proven track record overseeing large-scale, multi-market retail development projects from design through to store openingYou have a strong financial acumen with experience in budget development, cost control, and ROI analysisYou demonstrate proficiency with project management tools and design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite; Rhinoceros 3D/VRay a plus)You have a deep knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction best practicesCompétences requisesInspirational leader with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teamsStrategic thinker with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skillsStrong communicator who can influence and align multiple stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrates ownership and accountability while fostering a culture of trust and collaborationAdaptable and resilient in managing change, ambiguity, and competing prioritiesLanguesYou have a perfect command of French and English, both spoken and writtenKnowledge of any other language is an assetJob Location:Les Longines 8, 2610 St-Imier, Suisse (Bern)Company Address:Compagnie des Montres Longines, Francillon S.A.
