Your expertise will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable network connectivity while supporting strategic IT projects that align with broader business objectives.This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced networking professional with a deep understanding of Cisco environments and a proactive approach to performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and network security.Main requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network EngineeringCertification: Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is essentialExperience: Minimum of 4 years in a network administration or engineering role within a Cisco-focused environmentTechnical Competencies:- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)- Proven expertise in Cisco switching technologies (Catalyst, Meraki)- Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless environments, including Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points- Proficiency with Cisco monitoring tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center- Understanding of 802.1X Network Access Control protocolSoft Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities- Clear communication and technical documentation skills- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional IT and project teamsMain Responsibilities:Network Design and Implementation: Collaborate with IT architects and senior engineers to develop network solutions tailored to business needs. Deploy, configure, and optimize Cisco hardware and software, including routers, switches and wireless controllers.Network Maintenance andMonitoring: Proactively monitor network performance using Cisco monitoring tools andprotocols.
