At Four Seasons, we are powered by people and our culture enables everything we do.Based in the Four Seasons Regional Office in Geneva, the Director, Engineering (MEP) plays a key role in the successful delivery of Four Seasons Hotels, Resorts, and Residences across Europe. The role oversees the design and construction of all MEP systems and major CAPEX project activities, ensuring they align with brand standards, support operational needs, and meet sustainability and regional requirements.What you will doLead reviews of MEP, Fire Life Safety, and Security systems at key design and construction phases to ensure alignment with Four Seasons standardsCollaborate with internal stakeholders, owners, and consultants to deliver efficient, maintainable, and regionally appropriate MEP systemsMonitor project progress and escalate unresolved or non-compliant conditions through the VP of EngineeringParticipate in site visits to assess construction quality and review shop drawings, equipment specifications, and material samplesSupport Pre-Opening Directors of Engineering with commissioning programs and Engineering Pre-Opening Guidelines (EPOG)Gather feedback from operations to improve future MEP design and construction processes and track product performance over timeUpdate and maintain Four Seasons MEP Engineering Standards, and support broader initiatives such as Sustainability, ESG, and GRMSPrequalify and recommend MEP consultants and meet with suppliers to review products and servicesParticipate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives led by the global Engineering teamWhat you bringMaster's degree in Engineering or a related fieldLicensed/Registered Professional status (e.g., P.Eng.); LEED certification beneficialAt least 10 years' experience in international MEP consultancy with a focus on luxury hotel, resort, and residential projectsFamiliarity with European markets and regulatory environments; experience working in Europe is requiredStrong technical expertise in hotel planning, MEP systems design, and related construction processesExcellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skillsProficiency in CAD or other drafting software, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AcrobatWhat we offerCompetitive salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits packageExcellent training and development opportunitiesEmployee discount for stays at any Four Seasons worldwideMeal & medical allowanceHybrid working model from our Geneva Regional OfficeSchedule & HoursFull-time position, based in Geneva with frequent travel (approximately 40% of time), depending on project activityAdditional InformationFour Seasons is an equal opportunity employer.
