Senior Actuary

Our client, a leading insurance provider with a solid reputation in the Swiss market and an international footprint, is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Actuary - Life Insurance to join their growing team. This is a strategic role supporting the Head of Actuarial Function at group level across critical regulatory and actuarial initiatives.Your Responsibilities:Support the Head of Actuarial Function on group-level regulatory and actuarial matters (SST, Solvency II)Evaluate the adequacy of technical provisions and develop actuarial valuation assumptions and methodologiesCoordinate actuarial inputs for SST calculations and internal/external reportingApply and refine actuarial models and methodologies used in ORSA processesConduct validations, sensitivity analyses, and assess reinsurance program performanceMonitor product profitability and analyze the impact of assumption or reinsurance changesPrepare and present the Actuarial Function Report to senior management and the Executive CommitteeYour Profile:University degree in mathematics, actuarial science, economics, or a related fieldActuarial certification (e.g., SAV, DAV, or equivalent) is a strong plusMinimum 10 years of experience in life and/or health insuranceDeep understanding of SST and Solvency II reporting requirementsProficient with actuarial tools such as Prophet and/or programming languages like PythonExcellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex actuarial topics for non-technical stakeholdersFluent in German and English (written and spoken)What's on Offer:Attractive compensation package with excellent benefitsFlexible hybrid working model (up to 2 days remote per week is possible)Open, international, and innovation-driven environmentEligibility:Due to work permit regulations, only candidates with Swiss or EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit can be considered.Interested?Get in touch with your TalentCloud Group contact directly:Steven Lee TiserClient Director, TalentCloud Group
