We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our Global IT team and take responsibility for our site(s) in Switzerland. The IT Support specialist will contribute in the day-to-day technical operations by providing support and maintenance for software, hardware on the site and support business continuityResponsibilities:Overseeing and maintaining essential IT operations, including operating systems, ERP, security tools, applications.Implementing the Global Ammega IT Policies in the local sites maintaining the compliance.Supporting the local Business Continuity.Facilitating the rollout of the Ammega Global Projects.Reporting IT Incidents, risks, resource gap, status to the Ammega IT Hierarchy according to the organization and received guidelines.Managing the local IT Vendors.Managing the local Stakeholder.Preserving IT assets, information security and control structures.Handling annual local IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness in full alignment with the IT Hierarchy and Finance.Respond to incoming technical support requests via phone, email, and chat.Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems such as network connectivity, software installation, and hardware issues.Provide first-level support for software applications and operating systems.Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support staff when necessary.Follow established processes and procedures for service request management.Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills to stay current with new technologies and software.Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as required.Assist in maintaining inventory of IT assets and supplies.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science; at least 3 years of technical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Experience with computer hardware(installation, configuration & maintenance), software, and core networking concepts.Experience in managing Windows Server environments, including installation and troubleshooting.Experience with patch management tools and end point management tools like Bitdefender, Lansweeper, AxoniousAbility to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.Familiarity with ticket tracking systems and remote desktop tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong customer service and communication skills.Knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD)We Offer:A challenging and varied role in an international environmentOpportunities for professional developmentAn attractive employment package (40h work week, min. 25 days vacation, free parking, fringe benefits)A dynamic and supportive global IT team and great work colleagues in our Sites.If you are interested in this exciting position and meet the requirements, we look forward to receiving your applicationWe belong to a global network of over 6000 employees of Ammega Group.
