Night Auditor (m/f/d)Location: AppenzellType: Permanent positionStart date: By arrangementSalary: 4,600-4,700 CHF (brutto) + 13th monthMain ResponsibilitiesProvide knowledgeable and professional service to guests, with a thorough understanding of the hotel and local area.Manage guest check-ins, including data entry in Shiji and confirmation of reservations.Issue and manage electronic room keys in line with hotel security policies.Use effective sales techniques and actively promote upgrades and additional services, even without system prompts.Welcome, book, and process payments for walk-in guests.Handle credit cards, cash, and foreign currency transactions professionally, including currency exchanges.Post charges to guest accounts and apply discounts for owners and contracted partners.Review outlet reports for accuracy.Take responsibility for daily closing procedures and credit card reconciliations.Process fixed charges and vouchers.Prepare and distribute relevant departmental reports.Ensure compliance with hotel, LQA, and CMS standards.Operate the fire alarm system when required.Your ProfileCompleted hotel management training or hotel school qualification preferred.Previous reception/front desk experience, ideally in a 5-star property.Strong knowledge of front desk operations and a high level of numerical accuracy.Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.Confident user of hotel property management systems.Broad general knowledge, innovative thinking, and strong emotional intelligence.Organised, service-oriented, and able to work independently.Trustworthy with strong negotiation skills.Comfortable handling stressful situations with composure.Well-presented with a professional appearance.We OfferA central living and working location between Zurich and St. Gallen in the charming Appenzell region.The chance to be part of an exceptional resort opening with two international hotel brands.Above-average salary.50% discount in hotel restaurants.Special rates for stays in Hotellerie Suisse properties.Appenzeller employee card.Modern team lounge with a wide range of food, beverages, and relaxation areas.Job Type: PermanentPay: CHF4' CHF4'700.00 per monthApplication Question(s):What is your level of German?What is your level of English?How many years of night auditor experience do you have?Work Location: In person
