The Team Head for Data Platform & Analytics serves as business owner of the Global Data Platform (GDP) and leads the bank's data and analytics agenda. This role defines the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform, ensuring it delivers measurable business value and enables informed decision-making across the organisation.In a transforming environment, the role connects existing capabilities, sets direction, and expands the reach of data and analytics. It blends strategic leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery oversight to advance both the data platform and the bank's data science capabilities.YOUR CHALLENGEBusiness ownership of the Global Data Platform:Define the platform's vision, target state, and roadmapAlign business and IT on priorities, scope, and delivery outcomesEnsure the platform provides trusted, high-quality, and reusable data assetsStakeholder engagement and scope development:Design effective engagement models with business unitsDrive platform adoption, expand use cases, and manage governance and funding; enable clear prioritisation and value reportingLead growth in data assets through improved modelling and quality assuranceAdvance data science capabilities:Promote and coordinate advanced analytics initiatives across the bankSupport tools, best practices, and expert communitiesSecure resources and foster talent development for critical data projectsContribution to enterprise data & AI strategy:Shape and evolve the bank's overarching data and AI strategy in line with GDP objectivesCollaborate with technology, risk, and business functions to set governance and standardsRepresent the data function in key strategic programmes and executive forumsYOUR PROFILEEducation & Experience:University degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in data management, analytics, or digital transformationRelevant background in banking or wealth managementProven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage diverse stakeholdersCandidate Profiles (One of Two Tracks):A. Data Platform / Technical ProfileExperience implementing or running an enterprise-scale data platformStrong grasp of data architecture, modelling, and governanceKnowledge of analytics platforms and modern tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)•Understanding of banking operations, regulations, and data needsB.
