Sentec earned Kununu's Top Company award in 2025 and 2026.Senior Accountant (m/w/d) in an International EnvironmentWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support our finance team in managing daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes for our international subsidiaries.Primary responsibilities:Manage accounting for sales subsidiaries, including:General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, monthly and annual closings, ad-hoc reports, and budgetsTracking and reconciling intercompany balances and coordinating settlements in collaboration with global accountingTake ownership of the monthly and annual closing processes for our international subsidiariesCoordinate with local accountants, tax advisors, and auditorsSecondary responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for international subsidiaries (Swiss GAAP FER)Contribute to process improvements and system enhancementsRequirementsRequired QualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)At least five years of experience in an international group environment (accounting/reporting)Experience with ERP systems (Sage or Business Central is a plus)Strong Excel and data organization skillsFamiliarity with intercompany and multi-entity environmentsSolid understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and/or German GAAPExcellent English skills; German is a plusDetail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaborativelyThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ERP systems, understands group structures, and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.Policy for unsolicited applications from recruiters and recruitment agenciesWe do not accept any unsolicited applications from recruiters or recruitment agencies without a prior written agreement between both parties.
