JobdescriptionKeyResponsibilitiesAs Plant Engineer – Utilities, you will beresponsible for:Planning anddelivering partial and small projects, including processengineering calculations and technical optimizations within theplantPerforming feasibilitystudies for new installations or conversion of existing plants(cost estimates, timelines, and functionalevaluations)Conducting riskanalyses, operational tests, conversions, and providing engineeringsupport within thedepartmentEnsuringmaintenance activities are carried out safely, economically, andefficiently, while maintaining high levels of plantavailabilityCollaboratingclosely with internal stakeholders and external authorities whererequiredUsing SAP to placeorders, perform technical-commercial evaluations, and supportcapacity planning to optimize plant and personneldeploymentSupporting budgetmonitoring for maintenance, modifications, and investments withinyour area ofresponsibilityUpdating andverifying technical documentation such as PFDs/flowcharts, zoning& installation plans, spare parts lists, and organizationalchanges in line with GMPstandardsSupporting thetraining and knowledge transfer of plant teams and workshoppersonnel in areas such as process & plant understanding,safety, hygiene, environment, quality, and cGMPcomplianceRequiredProfileTo be successful in this position, youbring:A university degree inMechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering(or related field), or equivalent relevant experience(Technical college degree FH/HF will also beconsidered)Experience inbiotech/pharma production (strongadvantage)Good knowledge ofGMP requirements and working in a regulatedenvironmentExperience withCOMOS (Plant Engineering Software) and SAP is aplusA structured,well-organized and reliable way ofworkingStrongproblem-solving mindset and openness to newinsightsAbility to workindependently while collaborating effectively with multiplestakeholdersGerman languageskills are requiredGoodEnglish skills are anadvantageWhat'sofferedA challenging position in ahighly regulated and innovative industrialenvironmentExposure toplant engineering projects with direct operationalimpactA collaborativeworking culture with strong cross-functionalinteractionCompetitivecompensation and attractive conditions (depending on experience andcontract type
