If you want to be part of a team defining how AI transforms high-stakes knowledge work, this is the place to do it.About the role:We're seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team who will take ownership from day one and is eager to work alongside smart, dedicated, and fun people passionate about solving the complex challenges of building our product.Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions for our productCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresBuild, deploy, and maintain web applications using modern tools and frameworksOptimize the performance and scalability of our applicationsConduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable codeParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologiesRequirements:Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related fieldProven experience as a Backend Software Engineer, preferably in a scale-up environmentExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)Understanding of Linux system administration and Kubernetes deploymentsStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, RustSolid understanding of database management systemsInterest in AI and machine learning concepts is a plusExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work independently and take ownership of projects What you can look forward to:Location: We have an office near Zurich central station and mostly work on-premiseCompensation: Competitive salary and equity packageOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the legaltech and AI spaceCollaborative and supportive work environmentPotential for professional growth and advancement within the companyAt DeepJudge, we believe great teams are built on diverse perspectives and experiences.
