Founded as Swiss-Mile, the company rebranded to RIVR in 2025 to better reflect its mission of driving the future of intelligent robotics.We are seeking a hands-on and technically strong IT Manager to lead the development of a scalable and secure IT infrastructure that will support our company's rapid growth. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who is not "above" buying and setting up laptops, but is also clever enough to automate or find efficient outsourcing solutions for such tasks. This role is global in scope, requiring a strong focus on communication and documentation to support our teams across three continents.What you'll be doingIT Infrastructure and Operations: Maintain and improve a scalable IT infrastructure, including networking (routers, gateways, switches, Wi-Fi), secure remote access (VPNs), and hardware procurement and inventory.Software and Systems Administration: Administer and configure core corporate software and cloud services, manage user accounts and permissions, and oversee the ERP implementation.Employee Support and Onboarding: Provide technical support for all employees, lead IT onboarding for all new hires, and create comprehensive documentation for all IT processes.Automation and Collaboration: Automate repetitive IT tasks and collaborate with Hardware, DevOps, MLOps, and Cloud Engineers to ensure seamless integration between corporate IT systems and development environments.What you must haveProven technical leadership with a hands-on, all-rounder mentality.Experience designing and maintaining scalable and secure IT infrastructure.Experience with hardware procurement, inventory management, and basic troubleshooting (laptops, peripherals, network equipment).Demonstrated experience with IT security, including endpoint protection, access management, and security audits.Proficiency in administering corporate software, cloud services, and user permissions.Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills to manage an international scope.Get some bonus pointsExperience in a high-growth tech environment.Proficiency in scripting and other automation tools to improve efficiency.Experience with ERP system management.A strong understanding of the needs of a research and development company.RIVR is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that values every perspective.
