We are looking for an
Internal Audit Specialist – Commodities (H/F/X)
, for our client, an commodities company in Geneva, to join its group internal audit function for a permanent role :

Mission:

  • You partner with front, middle and back-office teams to understand end-to-end trading and supply processes, risks and controls across multiple commodities.
  • You structure and document walkthroughs, control designs and audit findings, turning complex flows into clear, usable workpapers.
  • You perform data-driven testing and sampling on high-volume transactions to detect anomalies, control gaps and efficiency opportunities.
  • You support continuous improvement by sharing insights across regions and functions, helping standardize good practices.

Profile:

  • You bring 3–5 years of experience in internal or external audit, and you have hands-on exposure to commodities environments (energy, metals or agri; trading, logistics or risk).
  • You hold a degree in finance, economics, accounting or similar, ideally with a professional certification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
  • You are fluent in English and communicate complex issues with clarity to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are flexible for occasional international travel. (up to 30%)
