Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in the accounting domain.
- Collaborate with product managers, accountants, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Implement software solutions using best practices in coding, documentation, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize existing software applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to accounting software development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
