The team
Based in Lucerne and London, and powered by a team representing 30+ nationalities, our culture is defined by our ambition, adaptability, collaboration, and an unshakeable commitment to excellence.
Our people are our foundation, our pride and our USP. The People & Culture team helps make TEAM the best place to develop a career in the sports marketing industry. We are committed to hiring and retaining the highest-performing talent. We achieve this through regular review of corporate processes and an emphasis on training, mentorship, staff schemes and collaboration. By cultivating a community that allows all staff to thrive and by focusing on individual development, we ensure everyone has a fulfilling career.
The role
As a Human Resources Generalist, on a fixed-term contract through December 2026, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations and help improve how the People & Culture team works. You will handle core employee-lifecycle administration, be a first point of contact for colleagues and people managers and contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding and offboarding to contract amendments, social insurance registrations, permit applications, absence management and the registration of accidents and illnesses as well as preparing reference letters and work confirmations.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment activities from drafting job descriptions to issuing employment contracts, ensuring a smooth and inclusive process.
- Respond to enquiries about employee benefits and HR policies, providing clear information and escalating when appropriate.
- Provide pragmatic first-line advice to line managers and employees in line with HR policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with Swiss labour law.
- Maintain accurate employee data in Personio (HR software) and ensure HR documents and templates are regularly updated, keeping all information accurate and consistent.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information related to HR processes.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimisation and automation.
The candidate
You bring experience in a similar human resources role and have a solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle; knowledge of Swiss labour law would be an advantage. You are a confident communicator who provides calm and empathetic support to colleagues, applying sound judgement when interpreting HR policies and guidelines and knowing when to escalate matters appropriately. You are comfortable managing data and documentation in HR systems and always handle confidential information with professionalism and care. You can manage your time effectively, balance multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy. Lastly, you build positive relationships at all levels and treat everyone with respect and equality.
Additionally, you shine in the following areas:
- Adaptability: You are curious, resilient and open to methods and ways of working.
- Ambition: You aim high and support others in striving for excellence.
- Connection: You value collaboration, inclusion and long-term partnerships.
- Diligence: You deliver with integrity, accountability and consistent quality.
- Languages: You speak and write fluently in German and English; other languages are an advantage.
We offer
At TEAM, our aim is to be the best place to develop a career in the sports marketing industry. We do this by cultivating a TEAM community that allows all staff to thrive, promoting clear and transparent communication and focusing on individual development.
- Be inspired: Work with and learn from industry-leading professionals in an open, international and vibrant culture.
- Continue growing: Benefit from regular and customised training and coaching programmes.
- Work flexibly: Our hybrid policy balances in-office and remote work on a weekly basis, allows the option of working elsewhere for up to 2 weeks per year, includes at least 5 weeks holiday, plus public holidays and an end-of-year office closure.
- Get involved: Join TEAM's Sustainability, DEI or Social committees; participate in weekly staff-organised sports; contribute to regular volunteering/charity opportunities; enjoy all-company events and celebrations.
- Enjoy extras: Take advantage of a discounted annual gym membership, onboarding support and commuter benefits.
