Product Engineer and Operations Manager(f/m/d)

Your tasks:

  • Product Development
    : Design sealing solutions using CAD, CAD-CAM, and FEM tools, ensuring technical precision and innovation.
  • Operations Management:
    Gradually assume full responsibility for CNC production in a 1.5-shift model, including team leadership and performance oversight.
  • Technical Documentation:
    Create and validate customer and manufacturing drawings aligned with production standards.
  • Customer Support
    : Provide technical consultation to customers and field service teams, both remotely and on-site.
  • Production Oversight:
    Monitor CNC operations and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations.
  • Offer Preparation
    : Support customer inquiries by preparing and validating technical offers for sealing and plastic components.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
    : Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and production units to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Process Optimization:
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and technical support areas.
  • Handle both design and site coordination tasks.

Your profile:

  • Educational Background:
    Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education in design or plant engineering.
  • Professional Experience:
    Several years of hands-on experience in CNC production, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in CAD tools and familiarity with FEM analysis; experience in offer preparation and technical documentation.
  • SAP
    knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience with
    2D drafting
    and
    3D modeling
    as well as
    BIM
    knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Mindset:
    Structured, goal-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    Team-oriented, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Fluent in German and English; knowledge of French and Italian is a strong asset.
  • It is important that the candidate holds a EU passport or valid Swiss work permit.
