About the Role

For one of our international consulting clients, we are looking for a SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Expert at Consultant level to support master data governance and data quality initiatives in Switzerland.

You will contribute to SAP MDG implementations and rollouts, supporting the definition of governance models, data standards and workflows, and working closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant master data.

Start Date: March 2026

Key Responsabilities

  • Support
    SAP MDG
    implementations and enhancement projects
  • Contribute to the design and configuration of
    MDG data models and governance processes
  • Support master data domains such as:
  • Business Partner
  • Customer & Supplier
  • Material Master
  • Participate in
    fit-to-standard workshops
    and requirement analysis sessions
  • Support workflow configuration, validations and derivation rules
  • Assist in data quality activities, testing, go-live and hypercare
  • Prepare functional documentation and support user training

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience
    in SAP Master Data or SAP MDG-related roles
  • Hands-on experience with
    SAP MDG
    (S/4HANA preferred)
  • Good understanding of
    master data governance principles and data quality management
  • Experience in SAP implementation or rollout projects
  • Ability to work in
    hybrid project environments
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Languages

  • Italian (mandatory)
  • English: fluent (mandatory)
  • German: nice to have (not mandatory)

Nice to Have

  • SAP MDG certification
  • Experience in
    Swiss or international projects
  • Exposure to
    data migration, data cleansing or data harmonization
    initiatives
  • Interest in growing toward
    Senior Consultant
    or
    Data Governance Lead
    roles

Location and Working Model

  • Switzerland-based role
  • Hybrid setup
    :
  • ~50% remote from
    Switzerland
  • ~50% on-site at client location (depending on project)
