The Role...

... is a on-site role for an exceptional
full-stack
engineer in Zurich. As one of our
Founding Engineers
, you will own the success of the product development.

• Full-Stack development:
  Define our technical foundations across frontend, backend, data and AI infrastructure so we can move fast without breaking things. Build robust backend systems, develop intuitive frontend experiences and design intelligent LLM pipelines that deliver actionable business recommendations.
• Experiment with agentic frameworks:
  Use and evaluate modern AI tooling and frameworks to build agents that are reliable, observable and safe in production. Because turning enterprise data into value is hard, we're building agents that do it 10x faster. We're looking for engineers who can vibe-code fast when needed, yet have the care and discipline to refactor and build a stable, long-term product/agents.
• Own modules end to end:
  Build and own full product modules that help retail category managers turn months of analysis into seconds. Take responsibility for entire features from the first sketch to production and iteration as you care about performance, reliability and quality. Engineering, testing and ownership come naturally to you.
• Work directly with the business:
  At Zenline, the customer (feedback) is our single source of truth, as we wouldn't exist without them. You collaborate closely with deployment engineers on a daily basis to understand customer problems and translate them into fast, intuitive product experiences for B2B users. Output first, iteration second.

• Experience:
  2–4 years building high-performance web applications with a focus on exceptional user experiences
• AI Expertise:
  Proven experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications from the ground up
• Passion & Speed of Execution:
  Comfortable moving fast in an ambiguous environment
• Bonus Points:
  Understanding of business concepts like profit & loss statements and balance sheets

  Owning a product area and guiding a small team of engineers
