Production Engineer

Job Summary

Production of complex laser systems including assembly, alignment, optimization and final test.

Principal Responsibilities

• Autonomous production of various laser products including
  • Preproduction tasks and subassembly manufacturing
  • Complete assembly of complex high power mode-locked solid state laser systems to meet customers' requirements
  • Complete performance testing and qualification
  • In-house servicing
• Maintenance and improvement of product and production documentation
• Calibration and maintenance of production equipment
• Identify and document process issues and initiate improvement actions
• New product introduction

• Interface to R&D team for new product introduction and engineering support

Qualifications - Skills – Experience

• Master in Photonics, Physics
• Hands-on, analytical and target-oriented work attitude
• Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high quality products
• Team player, good communication skills
• German and English
• Experience with Quality Management systems
• Experience with MS-Office programs and LabView
• Experience in working in cleanroom and electronics environment is a plus
