As part of our Assay Development team, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge molecular diagnostic and screening tests based on PCR technology—from early feasibility to commercial launch. You will support assay design optimization, develop robust test methods, prepare verification and validation activities, and help generate analytical performance documentation that brings meaningful diagnostic solutions to patients.

• Perform routine laboratory work and conduct your own experiments, including data analysis

• Work in a high-throughput laboratory environment and operate complex analyzers

• Plan and execute work packages for the development of molecular diagnostic tests

• Accurately document all experimental activities in electronic lab notebooks in accordance with GMP standards

• Conduct statistical data analysis using various software tools (e.g., JMP)

• Present experimental results in project meetings

• Handle and maintain laboratory equipment

• Author technical documents (e.g., Design History Files)

• Degree as Biomedical Analyst Scientist (BMA HF), Lab Technician (Biology, Medical Diagnostics, Chemistry), or Bachelor/Master in Life Sciences (no PhD profiles)

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on lab experience, ideally in molecular biology/PCR

• Skilled in data analysis and biostatistics

• Strong documentation skills and proficiency with MS Office

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus

• Open-minded, proactive team player with an organized work style

• Self-driven, flexible, and strategic thinker

• Experience with BSL2 sample handling or GMP/GLP environments is a plus
