Specialty Metals Trader

For one of our clients, an international company active in the trading of metals, we are looking to recruit a Specialty Metals Trader.

Your mission:

• Be responsible for Specialty Metals trading, both on sourcing and marketing
• Manage physical positions and optimize the portfolio across products and regions
• Contribute to define, develop and implement growth strategies in coordination with management
• Evaluate, manage and mitigate market, credit, operational and logistics risks
• Develop and maintain a strong client base (producers, traders, industrial end-users)
• Negotiate purchase and sale contracts and follow up on operational issues regarding delivery, quality, specifications and claims

Your profile:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Metals Trader (specialty/critical metals preferred)
• Proven and successful track record in physical trading and business development
• Very solid commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
• Self-starter, hands-on and resilient, with a strong team spirit
• Solid communication and stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
• Fluent in English; any other language is an asset
• Based in Switzerland (or willing to relocate)
