An innovative biotech at the forefront of AI-enabled drug design is seeking an experienced
PKPD Lead
to drive quantitative pharmacology strategy across biologics and small-molecule programmes. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-class interdisciplinary team shaping the future of model-informed drug discovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PK/PD and quantitative pharmacology strategy from target identification through preclinical development
  • Build advanced PKPD models for biologics and small molecules
  • Integrate PK, PD and tox data to inform key decisions, including dose and safety margin prediction
  • Collaborate closely with Drug Design, Pharmacology, ML Engineering, Preclinical and Clinical teams
  • Support AI-driven drug design platforms by contributing PK/PD insights and data for model development
  • Work with CRO partners to ensure high-quality, timely data generation
  • Mentor junior team members and support a culture of high scientific standards and continuous development

Requirements

Essential:

  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field
  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Proven experience as a PKPD Lead, ideally with biologics
  • Strong expertise in PK/PD modelling and quantitative pharmacology
  • Experience supporting early clinical development and regulatory documentation

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of machine learning techniques
  • Familiarity with Python or KNIME
