OpenText CSA / OO Automation Consultant

We're looking for an experienced consultant to lead a short but high-impact Proof-of-Concept for
OpenText (ex HPE / Micro Focus) Cloud Service Automation (CSA) and Operations Orchestration (OO)
for a major financial client in the
Zurich area
.

The ideal consultant has real project experience with the HP / HPE / Micro Focus / OpenText ITOM stack and is comfortable owning a PoC end-to-end – from technical design through to stakeholder demos.

Location & travel

  • Europe-based, able to travel to
    Zurich 1 day per week
    (more during key milestones if needed)
  • Day-to-day work can be remote within reasonable travel distance
  • Working language:
    English

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver a
    3-month PoC
    using OpenText CSA and OO
  • Build / adapt workflows and runbooks for server and service provisioning, lifecycle actions and integrations
  • Integrate with existing infrastructure tools (e.g. VMware, AD, DNS, IPAM, ticketing / CMDB)
  • Advise the client on best practices for automation, orchestration and ITOM using the OpenText (ex HP / HPE, Micro Focus) toolset
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and operations teams and present progress to senior stakeholders
  • Produce clear documentation and handover so the client can move from PoC to wider rollout

Must-have experience

  • IT infrastructure / automation / IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Hands-on project work with
    Operations Orchestration (HP / HPE / Micro Focus / OpenText)
  • Hands-on project work with
    Cloud Service Automation (CSA)
    or very similar cloud automation platforms
  • Proven track record designing and implementing
    automation workflows / runbooks
    (provisioning, lifecycle management, integrations)
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills and the confidence to lead a PoC on-site with the client
  • Excellent
    English

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in
    banking / financial services
    environments
  • Knowledge of VMware, Windows / Linux automation, AD, DNS, IPAM
  • Scripting / programming for automation (e.g. Java, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, etc.)
  • Experience migrating or modernising HP / Micro Focus automation stacks
