Your mission
As Senior Project Manager for Public Infrastructure Finance, you will take a leading role in European research and innovation projects (including Horizon Europe initiatives) that support municipalities and regions in planning and financing sustainable, climate-adapted solutions — from nature-based water management systems to green urban spaces and resilient transport corridors. You'll be working closely with municipal and regional partners, helping them navigate complex funding environments and translate strategies into tangible investment pipelines.
What you'll do
- Build strong partnerships and align efforts to achieve shared project goals.
- Support municipal and regional authorities in developing tailored financing approaches and investment plans.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and reporting.
- Design and deliver capacity-building activities for local stakeholders.
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and events.
- Write clear, high-quality reports and deliverables that capture key insights and progress.
What you bring
- Advanced degree (MA preferred) in economics, finance, project management, sustainable development, or another relevant field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience, including 4 years in public infrastructure planning or development, ideally on climate adaptation or sustainability initiatives.
- Solid understanding of municipal and regional budgeting and financing mechanisms.
- Familiarity with early-stage project preparation and emerging financing approaches.
- Experience managing EU or Horizon Europe projects would be an asset.
- Strong communication skills in English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of Nature-based Solutions and their application in areas such as water management, wildfire mitigation, or urban greening would be highly valued.
