Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Operations Analyst to join our Mortgage Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of mortgage loans through to closing. This role requires in-depth knowledge of CH mortgage operations processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and process approved mortgage loan applications (new and refinanced) through to closure.
• Coordinate and communicate with client relationship managers, notaries, land registries and borrowers to collect the required documentation and close the mortgage.
• Prepare offer letters and contractual documents (in German)
• Review and explain terms to clients, before securing client signatures
• Coordinate with Notaries to register mortgage liens and prepare for disbursement and property transfer
• Disburse loan funds in accordance with contractual terms
• Input/update data (e.g. interest and amortization schedules) in mortgage and client data platforms
• Monitor for missed payments
• Support client enquiries
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal Service Level Agreements and policies
• Maintain mortgage processing pipeline and track progress to ensure on-time closings.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure mortgage data meets all internal and external stakeholders requirements
• Provide regular status updates to borrowers and stakeholders.
• Support any audit requests and post-closing reviews.

Eligibility Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of mortgage processing or related mortgage operations experience, here in Switzerland
• Good knowledge of Swiss mortgage products (e.g. Fixed, SARON, etc)
• Experience in mortgage processing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Notary designation is a plus.
• Valid Swiss work permit.

Languages

• Fluent, German (spoken and written)
• English and/or French an advantage
