Your project:

As part of our growth, we are looking for a
Device Developement Engineer
to join a major project with one of our clients in the
medical device sector.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the design, development, and validation of prefilled syringe systems and other drug-device combination products.
  • Prepare and maintain Design Control and Risk Management documentation (URS, Design Development Plans, Design Inputs/Outputs, verification plans, DHF).
  • Ensure compliance and relevant guidance for Class I–III medical devices.
  • Apply knowledge of device-material-drug interactions, tolerance analysis, process validation, and transport/stability studies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

Your profile:

  • Degree in engineering, biomedical sciences, or material science.
  • At least 5 years' experience in drug delivery device development, ideally with prefilled syringes.
  • Solid understanding of design control, validation, and regulatory frameworks, including Class I–III medical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, statistical techniques, and documentation standards.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
