We are seeking a
Senior Trust Officer
to join an international fiduciary boutique based in Lugano. The role involves the administration and management of complex wealth planning structures for international clients and business groups, ensuring compliance with financial, regulatory, and accounting requirements. This is a client-facing position that requires strong legal, financial, and interpersonal skills.

About the role:

As Senior Trust Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of trusts, foundations, investment companies, and other fiduciary structures. You will collaborate closely with legal and tax advisors, private bankers, and external consultants to deliver tailored solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. The position requires autonomy, precision, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage trusts, foundations, investment companies, private trust companies, and insurance policies for international clients
• Conduct periodic reviews of client files from financial, regulatory, and accounting perspectives
• Implement and restructure wealth planning solutions in collaboration with legal and tax advisors
• Liaise with clients, lawyers, tax consultants, private bankers, accountants, and other third parties to ensure proper administration of structures
• Draft trustee resolutions, minutes, letters of wishes, contracts, powers of attorney, financing agreements, and other corporate documents
• Oversee accounting management, including preparation and review of financial statements
• Support the Legal & Compliance department and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Provide operational support to the managing partner
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and participate in training courses as required

Your Profile:

• University degree in Law, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance, consulting, fiduciary, or multi-family office environments
• Strong interpersonal skills with an independent and proactive working style
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Outgoing personality with confidence in client-facing interactions
• Ability to understand and balance the needs of both clients and the firm
• Persistent, energetic, and highly motivated attitude
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is a strong plus
