Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, integration, operation, and further development of complex, partly safety-critical systems

  • Analysis and conception of system architectures in multidisciplinary environments (IT, communications, sensor technology, networking, security)

  • Coordination and mediation between technical, operational, and administrative stakeholders

  • Evaluation and documentation of system designs, security architectures, and interfaces

  • Participation in requirements analysis, system integration, testing, and verification

  • Contribution to standardization, automation, and quality assurance across system boundaries

  • Support in preparing technical concepts, decision-making documents, and reports


Required Technical & Professional Expertise

  • Several years of experience as a System Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Technical Consultant in complex system landscapes

  • Knowledge and, ideally, certifications in Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering, or ITIL

  • Broad technical understanding of server, network, communication, or security architectures

  • Desirable knowledge in virtualization, cloud, and containerization (e.g., VMware, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker)

  • Experience in system integration, automation, and scripting (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash)

  • Experience with safety-critical or military systems, communication systems, or cryptographic technologies is an advantage

  • Ability to understand and connect technical, operational, and organizational aspects

  • Understanding of project management and stakeholder communication in complex organizations

  • Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and excellent communication skills

  • Excellent command of German and English
