Accredited Laboratory Technician

Job Description:

The Accredited Laboratory Technician will join the compliance group in our Engineering division to ensure relevant ISO standards are met and upheld. With a proven experience of operating in an accredited environment, this person will interface regularly with other internal operational groups and external electronic components suppliers.

Strong organizational skills are required as well as detailed documentation skills.

Position Description :

• Support the manager and the management system responsible for the accredited laboratory
• Technical contact person for measuring problems
• Maintenance and care of measuring equipment
• Calibration and validation of maintained by SCS measuring equipment
• Supporting production staff in the validation of their measuring equipment
• First point of contact for questions from laboratory staff for everyday problems
• Collaboration on the accredited calibration of new equipment and service equipment (max 10% per year).
• Use productive calibration if possible, to control procedures and documents

Position Requirements (nice to have & must have):

• Educated as an electronics technician
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in the EMC industry
• Good knowledge of electronics and experience in general measurement technology
• Understands the value of, and is able to produce, high quality documentation
• Detects, reports and corrects errors including documentation of the process
• Maintains a constructive positive attitude in challenging situations
• Operates effectively under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
• Good team player, interested in and able to communicate with other Engineering Disciplines
• Good MS-Office skills
• Fluent in German and English
