Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT Outsourcing Project Manager to lead the transition of a critical infrastructure service from an in-house setup to an external service provider within a Swiss banking environment. The role focuses on planning, governance, knowledge transfer, and risk management, rather than hands-on technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and structure the end-to-end IT outsourcing transition
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer from internal SMEs to the external provider
  • Define scope, milestones, governance model, and SLAs
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and regulatory constraints
  • Act as the main interface between internal stakeholders and the outsourcing partner
  • Ensure controlled handover, parallel run, and service stabilization

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing IT outsourcing or service transition projects
  • Strong background in vendor management and service governance
  • Experience in regulated environments (banking or financial services preferred)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Structured, delivery-focused project management approach
  • Strong knowledge of English, French is a plus.
