Role Overview

For a UN Agency based in Geneva, DropaCode is seeking a Senior Data Implementation Consultant to lead the business-aligned implementation of INFORMATICA MDM and RDM.

The role is primarily remote within Europe, with occasional onsite presence in Geneva. You will translate the client's existing data governance framework into operational, high-quality master and reference data solutions.

Key deliverables include:

Operational MDM and RDM

INFORMATICA data models, match rules, survivorship logic, and workflows

High-quality Golden Records for Customer / Party data

A steward-enabled operating model

Key Responsibilities

  1. Golden Record Definition

Lead workshops with business owners and data stewards to:

Validate customer and reference data definitions

Finalize the master data model in collaboration with the implementation partner and the Data Governance and Management Section (DMGS)

Define golden-record rules

Ensure MDM alignment with:

Business processes

Downstream system consumption

INFORMATICA data model structures

  1. Functional and Technical Design

Own the functional and technical design in collaboration with the implementation partner and DMGS, including:

Data models

Match and merge rules

Survivorship logic

Reference data structures

Stewardship workflows

Translate business and governance rules into INFORMATICA configurations

  1. Implementation Partner Oversight

Review and validate:

INFORMATICA configurations

Integration designs

Data migration rules

Ensure the implementation partner delivers:

The approved MDM solution

Governance-aligned matching and survivorship

Effective and usable stewardship workflows

  1. Golden Record & Data Quality Delivery

Oversee data profiling, cleansing, and deduplication activities

Validate:

Match accuracy

Merge outcomes

Golden record completeness

Ensure INFORMATICA delivers trusted, business-ready master data

  1. Stewardship & Business Enablement

Configure and validate stewardship workflows in INFORMATICA

Train and support:

Data stewards

Business owners

IT users

Enable users to:

Review matches

Resolve conflicts

Manage reference data

Required Experience

Mandatory

7+ years of MDM/RDM experience, including 3+ years with INFORMATICA MDM/RDM

Proven, hands-on experience delivering INFORMATICA MDM solutions

Strong experience implementing:

Match and merge

Survivorship logic

Golden records

Stewardship workflows

Essential

Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, not only technical teams

Experience defining and implementing enterprise MDM solutions

Experience working with system integrators and implementation partners
