The role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of digital learning platforms (e.g., Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and virtual classrooms).

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to the team in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing system performance.
- Technical Solutions Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect technical solutions for digital learning, ensuring integration with existing systems and platforms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including HR, Learning & Development, and IT teams, to understand requirements and ensure alignment with digitalization goals.
- Innovation & Research: Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital learning technologies (e.g., AI-driven learning, AR/VR, adaptive learning) and suggest new solutions to improve learning experiences.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of digital solutions by conducting rigorous testing, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentorship & Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of developers and technical specialists, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing work environment.
- Vendor & Tool Management: Work with external vendors and tools to implement best-in-class solutions and ensure that digital learning tools are up to date with the latest capabilities.
- Reporting & Analytics: Define success metrics, gather data from learning platforms, and analyze results to measure the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives.
Qualities We Value
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Education Technology, Digital Learning, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or certifications related to learning management or digital transformation are a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and trends in learning and development technologies, including e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
- Contextual Knowledge: Prior experience with government agencies is preferred
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in learning technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).
- Experience in Digital Learning Solutions: Proven track record in leading digitalization and e-learning projects, with a deep understanding of instructional design, content management, and digital learning trends.
- Software Development Knowledge: Familiarity with software development languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, HTML5, CSS) and integration techniques (APIs, cloud-based solutions) to manage and deploy technical solutions.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior team members and working cross-functionally with IT, business, and learning teams.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning solutions and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions in a clear and accessible way to non-technical stakeholders.
