OpenShift Engineer / DevOps
to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is an expert in the Red Hat ecosystem, specifically
OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
and
OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)
, with a strong background in GitOps and automation.

You will ensure high availability, storage resilience, and security for our advanced AI and Nvidia Openshift workloads. We value
Red Hat Certified professionals
(e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration) or candidates with equivalent, demonstrable high-level experience in production environments.

Your Mission:

You will own and evolve our
Red Hat OpenShift platform
, ensuring it remains
secure, resilient, and scalable
for mission-critical AI and GPU-accelerated workloads. Your mission is to
automate everything possible
, apply
GitOps and infrastructure-as-code principles
, and deliver a rock-solid platform that enables engineering teams to move fast with confidence. Through deep technical expertise and strong ownership, you will help push our OpenShift and DevOps capabilities to the next level.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • OpenShift Architecture & Management:
    Design, deploy, and manage production-grade
    Red Hat OpenShift
    clusters. Oversee lifecycle management, upgrades, and operator integration (OLM) ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Storage & Data Foundation:
    Implement and manage
    Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)
    to provide resilient persistent storage (Block, File, Object) for containerized applications and AI workloads. Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery strategies using ODF capabilities.
  • Virtualization:
    Leverage
    OpenShift Virtualization
    (KubeVirt) to manage and migrate Virtual Machines alongside container workloads, unifying the infrastructure stack.
  • CI/CD & GitOps:
    Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines. Automate infrastructure delivery using
    FluxCD
    (GitOps),
    Terraform
    , and
    Ansible
    .
  • Security & Compliance:
    Implement strict security measures, including TLS certificate management, SSO authentication (
    Keycloak/Red Hat SSO
    ), and adherence to ISO standards within the OpenShift environment.
  • Observability:
    Enhance monitoring and logging stacks using
    Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
    (OpenShift Logging) to ensure granular visibility and rapid incident response.
  • Database Management:
    Optimize stateful workloads and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) running within OpenShift via ODF.
  • Support & Collaboration:
    Provide Tier-3 support for infrastructure issues, manage tickets, create detailed technical documentation, and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

Your Profile:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • OpenShift Expertise:
    Deep proficiency in
    Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
    . You must be comfortable managing clusters, operators, and networking (SDN/OVN).
  • Storage Mastery:
    Strong hands-on experience with
    OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF)
    , Ceph, or similar software-defined storage solutions in a Kubernetes context.
  • Virtualization:
    Experience with
    OpenShift Virtualization
    or managing VMs in a containerized environment (KubeVirt).
  • Certifications:
    Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (ex. EX280)
    or equivalent proven field experience is strongly preferred.
  • DevOps Toolkit:
    Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD).
  • Linux Fundamentals:
    Deep knowledge of Linux system administration (
    RHEL/CoreOS
    ) and data center networking concepts.
  • Scripting:
    Proficiency in Bash and programming skills in Go or Python for automation.
  • Security:
    Experience with secret management, TLS/SSL, and identity providers (Keycloak).
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication, ability to work independently, and a problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills):

  • AI/ML Infrastructure:
    Experience with
    Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI)
    or deploying AI/ML workloads (Kubeflow, JupyterHub) on OpenShift.
  • NVIDIA Integration:
    Familiarity with the
    NVIDIA GPU Operator
    and managing GPU-accelerated workloads in OpenShift.
