We are a premium housewares brand, with a portfolio of distinguished brands including Zyliss, Cole & Mason, Culinare, AdHoc, Ken Hom and Swissmar; and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and innovative product ranges.

The Account Manager role is a critical and integral part of our team, responsible for managing and growing the
AdHoc
brand in Switzerland in all retail channels, including the Food Service Sector, while exploring new routes to the consumer market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diversified portfolio composed of national key-accounts, independent retailers, design stores, furniture stores and food service clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling DK Household Brands' products and services.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitoring account performance and analyse sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and new business opportunities.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients in alignment with company objectives.
  • Providing regular reports and updates on account activity, including forecasts, sales performance, and client feedback.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and meetings as needed to represent DK Household Brands (CH & Europe).

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven sales ability with strong experience in managing a sales territory effectively.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and able to present data internally and externally to support business decisions
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • An impeccable attention to detail and exceptionally organised
  • A flair for design & sales
  • A positive nature and a proactive approach
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a proficient level of MS Office skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Fluent in German and English, French highly recommended, Italian a plus

Additional requirements:

  • Would ideally suit a graduate, with relevant sales experience in either the housewares, FMCG or in the Swiss Food Service sector
  • Great opportunity for someone wishing grow their career in national account management, looking to build a solid foundation as a Key Account Manager
  • Full-time, permanent role, home-based with significant travel within Switzerland
  • Compulsory visits to the Zürich CH office at least one day per week (dependent on home location)
  • A current, valid driving license is essential for this role
