Your Opportunity
Location: Stabio (Ticino), full time (20% smart working)

Within the Finance Transformation team of the Group, we are looking for a Business Process Owner - Record to Report (R2R) who will lead the definition and evolution of processes related to accounting closing, management and statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and Finance master data management.

The role will initially be involved in a strategic project focused on process optimization, return to SAP S/4HANA standard, and R2R process redesign, aimed at fully leveraging the native capabilities of the existing SAP S/4HANA platform.

After the project, the role will evolve towards full responsibility for the governance of Group-wide R2R processes, collaborating closely with Shared Service Centers (SSCs) and Finance teams of the Business Units.

How Will You Contribute
During the project phase (transformation phase):

• Lead the redesign of R2R (Record to Report) processes, including:

• Management of accounting processes integrated within the Universal Journal (e.g., accounting postings, controlling, asset management, inventory movements)

• Period-end closing and consolidation activities

• Statutory and management reporting based on unified and structured data

• Contribute to defining the target model for managing Finance Master Data: chart of accounts, cost centers, organizational structures, legal entities, etc.

• Ensure processes and solutions are designed from the outset respecting principles of regulatory compliance, internal control, and traceability
• Collaborate with IT, Finance teams, and consulting partners to rethink processes using a "fit-to-standard" approach, maximizing the use of native SAP S/4HANA functionalities
• Ensure alignment between local processes and the Group's target operating model
• Participate in defining data architecture and the consolidated reporting model
• Support testing, user training, and rollout of the new model

In the post-project phase (run & improvement):

• Act as the global Business Process Owner for R2R processes, maintaining up-to-date documentation and defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related standard controls
• Oversee the governance and quality of Finance Master Data, coordinating with local owners and IT teams
• Support process standardization and the adoption of automation and advanced reporting tools
• Collaborate with SSCs and local teams to monitor process efficiency and promote continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead the evolution of the management and statutory reporting model, leveraging Business Intelligence solutions (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Oracle EPM Cloud - Planning & Consolidation)
• Ensure regulatory and operational compliance of running processes

Who you are
You are a senior professional with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

You Have

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
• 8-10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting with direct responsibility for R2R processes
• Significant experience in ERP environments, with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Deep knowledge of local and international accounting principles (e.g., IFRS), closing activities, and reporting processes
• Expertise in Finance Master Data (e.g., chart of accounts, legal entities, cost centers, accounting structures)
• Skills in Business Intelligence and Advanced Reporting (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Oracle EPM Cloud - Planning & Consolidation)
• Knowledge of main accounting reconciliation tools (e.g., SAP Account Reconciliation, BlackLine or similar)
• Fluent Italian and English
