We are partnering with a
global manufacturing organisation
to appoint a
Global Head of SAP Manufacturing
. This is a critical leadership role within the global SAP function, responsible for driving the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of SAP Manufacturing capabilities across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will play a central role in the ongoing global roll-out of a
state-of-the-art SAP S/4HANA template
, ensuring alignment between business strategy, manufacturing operations, and SAP best practices.

Reporting Line

This position reports directly to the
Global Head of SAP
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global SAP Manufacturing function, with ownership of
    PP, QM, and MM
    workstreams
  • Provide functional and strategic oversight of
    SAP IBP and PP/DS
    , ensuring tight integration with S/4HANA manufacturing processes
  • Manage and develop a
    global team of 10–12 internal SAP professionals
    , located across multiple regions
  • Drive the successful global rollout and optimisation of the
    SAP S/4HANA manufacturing template
  • Act as the strategic bridge between manufacturing business stakeholders and IT
  • Own end-to-end production planning, quality, procurement, and
    advanced planning and scheduling
    processes within SAP
  • Provide thought leadership on SAP architecture, integration, and future roadmap, including planning and scheduling capabilities
  • Ensure global standardisation while accommodating regional and regulatory requirements
  • Support change management, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience
    within global SAP environments
  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience
    in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of
    production planning, quality management, procurement, and supply planning processes
  • Proven experience with
    SAP IBP
    , including demand, supply, and/or response planning
  • Strong working knowledge of
    SAP PP/DS
    and its integration with S/4HANA and SAP IBP
  • Deep technical SAP expertise with a solid understanding of:
  • SAP ecosystem and architecture
  • SAP strategy, global templates, and planning integration
  • Demonstrated experience working with
    SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a global, matrixed organisation

Location & Working Model:

  • The role is
    based in Zurich
    with a
    hybrid working model
  • Initially, there will be a
    high degree of onsite presence
    to support onboarding and integration

Relocation:

  • Full relocation support to Zurich is provided
