THE ROLE
We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a leading multinational company in Switzerland. The Legal Counsel will support the Global Procurement Team during a period of peak workload, providing hands-on legal support on SaaS, procurement, and outsourcing matters, with a strong focus on IP protection. The role requires in-depth expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-value commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and mitigating legal risks. Fluency in English is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of diverse commercial agreements, including software, cloud (SaaS), purchasing, contract manufacturing, product development, outsourcing, and Corporate IT service agreements.Partner with Corporate Procurement to support the full supplier lifecycle, from RFI/RFP processes to agreement terminations, ensuring robust legal and business compliance.Develop and implement contract templates, processes, and training programs to enhance efficiency and compliance within the organization.Train procurement professionals on technology tools and foster proactive engagement with legal teams.Collaborate closely with internal legal and compliance teams across different regions and business functions.YOUR PROFILE
Lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant experience; bar admission preferred.Proven track record in high-value contract drafting, negotiation, and procurement law, ideally in an international environment.Strong knowledge of SaaS, outsourcing, IP protection, and technology-related legal matters.Ability to work independently and handle cross-border matters in a fast-paced setting.Excellent drafting and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Proficiency in English (additional languages are an asset).Ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.
