To strengthen our Embedded team, we are looking for an RF Expert with a strong embedded firmware focus for energy-efficient IoT devices and wireless modules.

Your Responsibilities

  • RF system design for Sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz systems (LoRaWAN, mioty, NB-IoT/LTE-M, BLE)
  • Support and optimization of RF frontends, matching networks, antennas, and RF measurement setups
  • Execution of measurements and debugging (spectrum analysis, VSWR, conducted and radiated RF tests)
  • Coordination and preparation of technical documentation for CE/FCC/IC/TELEC certifications
  • Collaboration with external test laboratories for certification and compliance processes
  • Development of energy-optimized firmware (C/C++, Zephyr RTOS, bare-metal) for low-power IoT devices
  • System and power profiling on embedded platforms
  • Participation in test system development
  • Technical support in projects and close cooperation with the hardware team

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields
  • Practical experience in RF design and low-power wireless systems
  • Experience with certification/RED/FCC/EMC testing is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in embedded firmware development in C
  • Experience with
  • Zephyr RTOS or FreeRTOS
  • STM32, Silicon Labs, Nordic nRF SoCs, or similar wireless MCUs
  • LoRaWAN, mioty, LTE-M, NB-IoT, or BLE
  • Hands-on knowledge in RF measurement techniques (spectrum analyzer, VNA, power meter, OTA tests)
  • Independent, structured working style with strong team orientation
  • Excellent German and English skills
