Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and support the corporate client environment (workstations, laptops, peripherals)
  • Package, deploy, and update software applications across the organisation
  • Manage users, access rights, and permissions within directory and identity systems
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and lifecycle documentation
  • Perform client patch management to ensure security and system stability
  • Actively participate in internal IT infrastructure and digitalization projects
  • Provide training and second-level support for Microsoft 365 applications
  • Create and maintain system, process, and operational documentation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable IT service delivery
  • Provide occasional on-call (standby) support as part of the IT operations team

Must-have criteria:

  • Completed vocational training or education in IT (e.g. Informatics, Systems Engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server environments
  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft 365 services
  • Solid technical understanding with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Structured, independent, and proactive working style
  • Ability to document systems and processes clearly
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in daily operations
  • Willingness to participate in occasional on-call duty

Nice-to-have criteria:

  • Initial experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or workplace engineering
  • Knowledge of software distribution and patch management tools
  • Experience with IT asset management processes
  • Basic understanding of IT security best practices
  • Exposure to IT project work in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g. PowerShell)
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Valid driving license (Category B)

Language requirements:

  • Very good German (spoken and written)
  • Good English (spoken and written)
  • French skills are an advantage
