For our client, a global pharmaceutical company located in Lucerne, we are looking for a motivated team player as

Financial Analyst, 100% (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and consolidate periodic legal entity profitability forecasts
  • Prepare periodic product-specific gross and net profit forecasts
  • Analyze actuals vs. legal entity forecast; take appropriate actions to understand variances and ensure awareness across stakeholders
  • Prepare quarterly foreign-currency-exposure forecasts to support the corporate treasury team with the company's short-term and long-term cash planning
  • Perform periodic forward-looking cash-flow analysis to support the corporate treasury team with their company-wide cash management
  • Present forecasts and analysis to the finance manager, the board of directors and other internal stakeholders
  • Be the first point of contact for various internal stakeholders regarding cash management on an entity level
  • Understand and coordinate financial impacts from the product supply chains
  • Leverage resources from the Business Services Center regarding intercompany and cash activities
  • Work closely with the entity lead accountant on day-to-day operating matters
  • Support the Finance Manager in the development and preparation of KPIs and controlling tools
  • Work effectively with key-stakeholders across divisions and different levels of management
  • Lead or participate in projects within the finance organization aiming to foster collaboration, process improvement and harmonization
  • Support internal and external audits

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an accountant, financial analyst or planner within a multinational environment
  • Strong analytical mind to translate data into meaningful information for the management
  • Teamplayer with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and ownership
  • Problem solving skills with a proactive working style to implement new processes
  • Ability of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficient in working with MS Office, experience with Power BI is a plus
  • Experienced in optimizing business processes leveraging technology
  • Excellent work ethics
  • Fluent skills in English, written and spoken
