Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
Temenos TDS Developer
to join our team in Zurich or Madrid. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain integrations and parametrizations in Temenos Data Source (TDS) based on business and operational requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability across financial applications, while also supporting critical business processes and releases.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and parametrize solutions based on business and operational requirements within the
    FI-Master application
    using
    Temenos Data Source (TDS)
    .
  • Configure new interfaces, data providers, imports, and exports, including data mapping and rule setup.
  • Define and execute
    data migrations
    and complex data queries for analysis and corrections.
  • Develop and maintain
    Bash
    and
    Python
    scripts.
  • Provide support for business requests with analysis, advisory, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor daily operations, troubleshoot incidents, and provide
    Level 3 support
    .
  • Manage setup and execution of
    release deployments
    .

Required Experience and Skills

  • Strong experience in
    Temenos Data Source (TDS)
    parametrization, including provider setup, import/export configuration, and complex rule creation with plugins.
  • In-depth knowledge of the
    TDS data model
    and provider decoupling.
  • Experience working with external data providers such as
    SIX
    and
    Bloomberg
    .
  • Proficiency with
    Oracle DB
    ,
    SQL
    , and
    PL/SQL
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Python
    (including
    Pandas
    ).
  • Familiarity with
    Unix system management
    and
    JBoss
    .
  • Experience in
    configuration management
    and
    deployment automation
    (Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins, Octopus).
  • Knowledge of
    Agile methodologies
    and tools such as
    Jira
    .
  • Proven experience in
    incident management
    and
    2nd/3rd level support
    .
  • Experience translating business requirements into IT solution designs.

Education and Certification

  • Higher education in
    Information Technology
    (e.g., University of Applied Sciences) or
    Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Informatics
    .
  • 4–5 years of experience in a similar role within the
    financial industry
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    software design, development, and customization processes
    .
  • Excellent
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of
    financial instruments
    .
