WinGD is looking for a

Responsibilities:

• Are you ready to join our journey towards a low carbon future for marine applications? We are looking for a senior Project Manager 2-stroke High Pressure Gas Engine Technology who can contribute to drive our Dual Fuel Engine strategy
• Planning and Scheduling: Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Coordination: Work with multiple teams globally (internal and external), including R&D, engineering and design to ensure all project deliverables are ready on time
• Interfacing: Make sure that Technology and Product Development is aligned without compromising technology validation
• Testing and Validation: Oversee rig and engine test planning to ensure the technology meets specifications and safety standards
• Documentation: Maintain records of major project activities to ensure project can be audited against relevant standards
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any problems that arise during project execution
• Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed about the progress and any issues that may impact the project timeline
• Risk Management: Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, and ensure that all possible scenarios have been given relevant consideration

Requirements:

• University degree in (Mechanical) Engineering
• 5-8 years of fundamental experience in project management
• Minimum 5 years of 2- or 4-stroke diesel/otto engine technology development, preferably in the marine sector
• PMP (PMI) Project Management Professional) certificate or equivalent is a plus
• Good understanding of the engineering process for marine engine development
• Knowledge of the shipping industry and marine applications and regulations
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Passion for new technology development and results achievement
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within diverse teams with a pragmatic attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and manage conflict resolution if needed
